Since February 2015 I am working at the MLU, where I hold the Friede-Springer Endowed Chair of Business Ethics and Management Accounting. I obtained my PhD in 2008 at the LMU Munich for work on the Business Case for Corporate Social Responsibility. I obtained habilitation for work on Accounting and Ethics from the same university in 2014. In research and teaching I focus on corporate responsibility, sustainability reporting, and behavioral effects of incentive schemes. In my research I apply empirical methods - currently I focus on behavioral experiments.
Next to my work at the MLU I also work at the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics (WCGE). My duties there include supervision of the doctoral program and field projects, as well as designing and conducting advanced training for executives.
