Corporate Social Responsibility

Adaptations due to the pandemic

In this seminar all meetings take place as video conferences. Depending on the current situation, this concept may change at short notice.

This course is a reading seminar. In this seminar we will discuss classics of the literature on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Students read primary texts during the individual preparation phase. In the seminar itself, the focus is then on discussing and analyzing relevant articles together.

In particular, we will discuss selected contributions to the discussion on the nature and scope of corporate social responsibility. This has become a central topic in public debate, in corporate practice and also at universities. The term Corporate Social Responsibility describes the growing challenge for companies to meet their responsibility with regard to social, ecological and economic aspects.
